Contact

One address, answered by a person.

Email [email protected]. That single address is the whole of the contact surface VEXBE LTD exposes. Nothing on these pages asks you to fill anything in: composing the message in your own client puts the exchange in two mailboxes instead of one, and your half of the record stays yours.

First message

Five lines is usually enough.

You do not need a brief, a requirements document or an NDA to start a conversation. You need to describe one seam clearly. If any of these is unknown, say it is unknown, which is itself useful information.

  1. Line one

    Which two systems

Name them, including version or edition where it matters. If one of them is a spreadsheet, an inbox or a person retyping figures, say so. That is extremely common and is not embarrassing.

  2. Line two

What is meant to happen between them

The intended behaviour in one sentence, including how often. Nightly, on save, on approval, on the last working day of the month.

  3. Line three

    What actually happens

The symptom as somebody experiences it, not the theory of the cause. Duplicated records. Silent gaps. A job that fails twice a month and is rerun by hand. A number that disagrees with another number.

  4. Line four

    What it costs you

Roughly. Hours of manual rework, a close that slips, a regulatory return needing correction, a customer who spotted it. This is what settles whether the job is worth commissioning, and now and then it settles that it is not.

  5. Line five

Who has to agree to a change

The person or team that owns each side of the seam. Integration work stalls on permission far more often than on technique, and knowing this early changes the shape of any proposal.

What happens next

Response routes and the time each one takes.

Every row below lands in the same inbox. What differs is the handling and the clock attached to it. A working day here means a weekday that is not an English bank holiday.

Statutory address

Where formal notice is served.

Formal service of a legal document on VEXBE LTD is effective at the registered office and nowhere else. The office is an address service rather than a place with a reception desk. Anything posted there is forwarded onward, which adds days, so for everything short of formal notice the mailbox stays the quicker channel.
